Colonel ROBERT GRANT MEADOWS II

Colonel Robert Grant Meadows II is the Commander, 22d Maintenance Group, McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas, where he is responsible for over 1,200 officer, enlisted, and civilian members comprising 27 different Air Force specialty codes and oversees maintenance for 23 KC-135 Stratotankers and 21 KC-46 Pegasus’ with an associated value of $4.3 billion. Additionally, he is responsible for maintaining readiness to support deployments and contingency operations including Operation ENDURING FREEDOM and the Global War on Terror. 

 

Colonel Meadows entered active duty as an enlisted member in 1991 and was commissioned in December 1997 as a distinguished graduate of the Reserve Officer Training Corps through Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Colonel Meadows has commanded two squadrons and served at the Major Command, Headquarters Air Force and Joint Staff level. Prior to his current assignment, he was the Chief, Mobility Aircraft Division at Headquarters Air Mobility Command.
