All active duty military, retirees and civilian employees can donate money or their time to this year’s Combined Federal Campaign, from Oct. 10 to Nov. 28 here.

The CFC is a program to support and promote a variety of charitable causes and provide individuals with the chance to improve life for all.

“The Combined Federal Campaign is the world’s largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with 36 CFC zones throughout the country and overseas to raise millions of dollars each year,” said 1st Lt. Preslee Ellsworth, 22nd Force Support Squadron food service officer.

The campaign was founded in 1961, and has since gained more than $8.3 billion with the help of federal employees and volunteers.

“CFC helps thousands of charities, not only one. They have so many legitimate nonprofit organizations that need our help and I wanted to be part of it,” said Master Sgt. Glenys, 22nd Logistics Readiness Squadron non-commissioned officer in charge for quality insurance.

“Giving Tuesday” is schedule for Nov. 27 and will give members a chance to donate if they haven’t already to make McConnell’s final goal for this year. Although online donations will continued to be accepted until Jan. 11, 2019.
