MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. –   The 22nd Air Refueling Wing, 931st ARW and 184th Intelligence Wing at McConnell AFB will test operational readiness procedures during an exercise next week.

From March 25-29, Airmen will respond to simulated prompts designed to test alert procedures, such as aircrew recalls.

Visitors and neighbors may witness increased operations, and base personnel should expect delays in normal services across the base.

The surrounding community can expect to hear alarms, sirens and announcements during exercise operations throughout the week. McConnell AFB is an operational military installation, and fluctuations in daily procedures and operations are not a cause for concern.
