Physical: Performing and excelling in physical activities that require aerobic fitness, endurance, strength, flexibility and body composition derived through exercise, nutrition and training.

Social: Developing and maintaining trusted, valued friendships that are personally fulfilling and foster good communication, including exchange of ideas, views and experiences.

Spiritual: Strengthening a set of beliefs, principles or values that sustain an individual's sense of well-being and purpose. Spiritual fitness is about having a sense of purpose and meaning in your life. It's essential to an individual's resiliency as esprit de corps is vial to a unit's mission accomplishment. It includes but not limited to worldviews, religious faith, sense of purpose, sense of connectedness, values, ethics and morals.

Fitness Center
AF Fitness Centers provide the base population with a state of the art cardiovascular and strength training equipment. Bases have a variety of equipment available which may include treadmills, lifecycles, cross trainers, Nautilus, Body Master, and/or Cybex selectorized weight machines, as well as a selection of free weights and benches. Many installations also have gymnasiums, racquetball courts, aerobic rooms, spinning rooms, locker rooms, saunas and child play areas. Fitness Centers also offer a variety of free and fee based classes and services which may include Fitness improvement, Spinning, Step, Yoga, Pilates, Core/Abs, Zumba, Martial Arts, Massage Therapy, and Personal Trainers. Air Force Sports Program
The AFSP is designed to allow active duty, National Guard and reserve Air Force personnel an opportunity to participate at the Air Force, Armed Forces, national and international sports events. The AFSP is comprised of 15 different sports. To apply for the program, athletes must submit a completed AF Form 303, Request for USAF Specialized Sports Training. Intramural Sports Program
Intramural Sports contribute to the overall fitness of base personnel while promoting unit esprit de corp. Intramural programs may include: flag football, basketball, darts, racquetball, volleyball, soccer, softball, bowling, golf, and numerous other competitive activities. Health and Wellness Center
The Health and Wellness Center promotes nutrition, exercise, stress reduction, tobacco cessation and more. It offers education, counseling and training in accordance with the Air Force Fitness Program. Free classes are open to active duty and retired military and their dependents (age 18 and older), and DOD civilian employees. Outdoor Recreation
Get out and have fun! Outdoor recreation programs typically include organized activities: trips, hikes, bike rides; referral systems (find out the best places to hike, fish, or ski); equipment support: rent bikes, skis, campers, kayaks, tents, etc.; customer services: Get custom fitted for skis, bikes, sleeping bags, etc.; and may offer outdoor recreation related customer services like fishing licenses or ski tickets ... and so much more! Bowling
Bowling Centers are complete with automatic scoring, cosmic bowling, bumper bowling, arcade games, pro shops and Snack bars. Bowling lessons are available almost any time of the day. Tips are provided to those bowlers who wish to improve their game. The Bowling Centers offer a calendar of events that provide a good balance between organized and open bowling.
