Colonel RICHARD C. EVORS

Colonel Richard C. Evors commands the 22nd Medical Group at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas. Colonel Evors provides operational command and control over two squadrons consisting of 276 personnel in a 90,000 square foot facility serving 12,000 beneficiaries with an annual operating budget of $15,000,000. He advises the wing commander, wing staff agencies, and three group commanders on medical contingency planning and all matters relating to medical care and readiness.
Colonel Evors is originally from Florida and commissioned into the Air Force in December 2002. He has commanded the 319th Healthcare Operations Squadron, 319th Medical Support Squadron and served as Administrator for the 319th Medical Group. Colonel Evors has performed responsibilities in medical Military Construction, as Deputy Chief Capital Investment Management Branch, Chief Facilities Enterprise Transition and Innovation at the Defense Health Agency, and instrumental in financial programming, standards and issuances, cybersecurity, and defense task critical assets and Unified Facilities Criteria, with responsibility for over $2.8 billion in medical Military Construction. He previously held leadership positions at the Defense Health Agency as Chief of Military Construction, at on Air Staff as the Air Force Medical Support Agency Executive Officer, and in the USAFE Command Surgeon’s office as Chief, Medical Support Plans and Programs. Colonel Evors has been a board-certified Architect over twenty-eight years, licensed in the State of Florida, and a member of the Society of American Military Engineers and American Society for Healthcare Engineering.
