Town Hall Meeting focuses on children's education

MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. --  Education is a critical concern for military families. Col. Mark Evans, 22nd Mission Support Group commander, will hold a Town Hall Meeting at 6:30 p.m., Nov. 1, 2011, at the School Age Program Facility, Building 2804, to address any parent concerns with the local education agencies serving McConnell.

The School Liaison Officer will also be in attendance to note parent concerns and proceed with action as needed. At this time, we will also introduce Parents as Advocates for Students and Schools (PASS), a volunteer-lead program to help parents become better advocates for their children's education. Volunteer sign-ups will be available on site.
