Congratulations to 22nd CS

MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. --  Congratulations to the 22nd Communications Squadron for earning an "Outstanding" on a Defense-level network inspection.

Thanks to Team McConnell, the base's network exceeds the Department of Defense's security standards. Defense Information Systems Agency inspectors evaluated McConnell this past week as part of a Command Cyber Readiness Inspection, the DISA's newest tool to ensure connections to the Global Information Grid are secure.

The 22nd Air Refueling Wing received an over-all rating of "Outstanding" from the DISA team. Outstanding is the highest grade a unit may receive.

The rating could not have been earned without the assistance of all members of Team McConnell, said Steven Eftink, 22nd ARW Information Protection Chief.
