Team McConnell (Airpower),

Last week some of you had the chance to speak with Mr. Simon Sinek about the identity of the Air Force. The responses were very consistent from the most junior to the most senior ranks. Our Air Force works smarter, not harder and adapts to all environments. We listen to the innovative ideas of junior members and every Airman's efforts contribute to our success. Our doctrine is less concrete than the other military services, but more supportive of today's dynamic combat environments. Be proud that you're Airmen and you make a difference.

As the year comes to a close, annual awards are starting to be announced and we have some amazing teammates and sections to recognize. Their names are listed below and their hard work, dedication and professionalism lead the way in Air Mobility Command. Congratulate these individuals and teams when you see them, and wish them luck as they compete at the Air Force level. This has been an outstanding year for Team McConnell, and I look forward to recognizing many more of you in the coming weeks.

Please take a minute to read the AMC commanders Holiday Safety Message here: AMC/CC Holiday Safety Message.

Thanks for your service.

Col. C.
