Commander congratulates AMC award winners

The holiday season is now in full swing and it is a great time to celebrate...even if it is a lot colder outside. We also have several teammates to congratulate for being Air Mobility Command's 2010 award winners:

Congratulations again to all and best of luck at the Air Force level. For everyone, keep leaning forward and lets finish the calendar year strong. Another well deserved break is just around the corner. I ask that you be extra vigilant as schedules become compressed, teammates get stressed and separation from family takes its toll. Now is the time that your wingman needs you the most, so take a few minutes to send an email to a deployed friend or chat with a co-worker...it's the people we serve with that make a difference.

Electronics Bingo: Dec. 2 in the Dole Community Center ballroom. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and bingo starts at 6:30 p.m. Only $20 per pack of cards for 12 games. Deb's Café will be offering a dinner including a pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, choice of coleslaw or potato salad and a medium drink for $5.50 for members and $6.50 for non members. "Street Smart": Dec. 3 at 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the base theater. This one-hour presentation by experienced firefighters & paramedics is a real-life program that dramatically demonstrates the consequences of poor choices of distracted driving. Everyone is encouraged to come learn how you can become "Street Smart", and join the front line of safety. Street Smart saves lives.

Santa's Visit: Dec. 11 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Dole Center Ballroom. Come enjoy this free event filled with games and prizes; pictures with Santa, one free to each person, can buy additional, and crafts activities.
