What is Roll Call? Roll Call is a short face-to-face meeting with your Airmen, usually at the flight or workcenter level; it is a mandatory event.

Not only can supervisors review the official "Roll Call" product from Air Force leadership, but they can also highlight important local issues, encourage attendance at upcoming unit and base events, and informally recognize stellar performance when appropriate.

The www.AF.mil Web site folks say it better than I ever could "Airman's Roll Call helps Air Force supervisors explain complex, yet important Air Force issues to their Airmen during daily or weekly meetings. The goals of Airman's Roll Call are three fold: to keep Airmen informed on current issues, clear up confusion and dispel rumors, and provide additional face-to-face communication between supervisors and their teams."

If you're not doing Roll Call, you're wrong. To get a copy of the Roll Call, go to www.af.mil.
