The 22nd Medical Group Radiology department is here to serve you. If you see an outside provider and require our services, bring in a valid provider's order and we will assist you with your needed exams.

You may bring in a written or computerized prescription. Any beneficiary eligible for care can utilize our radiology services at no cost to them as long as we have the particular capability required.

Our services include routine X-rays, mammograms, breast ultrasounds and dexa scans. Capability of services varies depending on staff availability. Currently, we are not doing most ultrasounds due to deployment; however, we are still capable of doing breast ultrasounds.

In an effort to encourage appropriate health assessments, women may self refer for a mammogram if they meet the following criteria:
  • Minimum age of 40 and have had a normal previous mammogram; younger women must see a provider first.
  • You must be a Tri-Care prime beneficiary.
  • Have no breast problems at the time of the appointment.
  • The last mammogram was no less than one year ago and no abnormalities or problems were found on that exam.
  • The last set of films must be on hand before we can schedule an appointment.
If you are changing stations, you need to stop by radiology so we can put your X-rays onto a disc to take to the next base and take you out of the virtual record. If you are retiring and staying in the area you still need to come in so we can update our contact information and tracking records. Women who have had mammograms must hand carry their mammograms to their next assignment. This simple action could save your life.

So, if you are ever in need our services, please feel free to contact us at 759-5030.
