New procedure comes to McConnell Published Jan. 28, 2009 By Staff Sgt. Ronald Lafosse 22nd Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- Starting in February, Airmen arriving at McConnell will begin in-processing under the revised 22nd Air Refueling Wing concept identified as McConnell Right Start. During the week of Jan. 26, the program requires new members to report to their unit to begin "jump start" actions during their first duty day on station. Completion of jump start will kick off the mandatory McConnell Right Start process. The concept is for members to accomplish all wing in-processing requirements within five dedicated duty days. This process begins with a mass in-processing event held every Tuesday in the Education Center. It integrates requirements from military personnel section, base training, 22nd Medical Group, 22nd Logistics Readiness Squadron, Airman and Family Readiness Center and finance. This comprehensive process ensures a smooth transition for new Team McConnell members enhances personnel accountability and fosters a mission-ready posture. Additional information will be available through the McConnell Right Start tab located at the top of the 22nd ARW SharePoint site.
