In conjunction with the Pre-deployment Preparation Retreat, the wing commander and chaplain service are sponsoring an additional retreat. The Reunion and Reintegration Retreat is also geared to help military members and families maintain healthy relationships between deployments.

This unstructured, unit-based retreat is designed to build and maintain every aspect of relationships involving families, marriages and units.

These retreats are scheduled according to Air Force group. The next retreat is for the entire maintenance group, and will also be held at Rock Springs, Aug. 24-26.

An immense amount of free time is offered throughout this retreat, and the chaplains will be available to meet with participants personally (upon request) to help them work through any issues they would like to discuss, said Chaplain Williams.

No one attending the retreats will be required to speak in a group setting or share anything personal with a group.

"We want (participants) to be able to just come, relax, perhaps learn a few things about how to increase the satisfaction in their relationships and take away whatever they decide to put into the time together," said Chaplain Williams.

All retreats are designed to benefit military members and families and to prepare them for a time of deployment.
