Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?

Without a doubt, my wife is the most positive influence in my life. We have been together for 10 years, married for three years -- she really is amazing. She is currently balancing her job as a first grade teacher at Oaklawn, along with finishing up her last three classes for her master's degree. Watching her has been an inspiration for me to go back to school and finish my bachelor's degree.

What would you like to accomplish during your Air Force career?
A short term goal would be to PCS. I would really like to go to Europe or Japan.
Long term I would like to be a first shirt and someday make chief master sergeant.

Where is the most interesting place you have traveled and why do you feel that way?

New York City for me is the most interesting place that I have been to. I grew up in a town of almost 3,000 people, about five hours away from New York City, so when I went to visit my sister, who lives there, it was really amazing to see all the different types of people and how busy and different their lives were compared to mine. I also had the opportunity to go there two weeks after 9/11 and the people were dramatically different. Even though it was such a horrible tragedy for America, it really brought everyone in the city, and the country, together.

What is your favorite book/ movie and why?
My favorite movie is "Gladiator." There were a lot of good themes throughout the movie. The main character really demonstrated what being a leader is all about, and showed what a person can accomplish if they are motivated.

If you have the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
I would like to meet my grandfather on my dad's side. He was in World War II. He passed away a few months before I was born.
