Tech. Sgt. Doug Boren has served in the Air Force for 12 years. He has been stationed at McConnell for nine years. His hobbies include music, playing the guitar and the drums, singing and playing volleyball.

Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
My father--hands down. He is the voice of reason when I tend to act emotional. I wish I had realized when I was younger that he really did know everything.

What would you like to accomplish during your Air Force Career?

I'm hoping to tour with Tops in Blue before I retire.

Where is the most interesting place you have traveled and why do you feel that way?
Each place I have been has been interesting to be honest. There's so much diversity in each culture that it's tough to say one was more of an experience than the other.

What is your favorite book/ movie and why?
"The Power of a Praying Husband" by Stormie Omartian is my favorite book. It offers methods of praying for my wife and her success as a wife and mother. "The Count of Monte Cristo," is my favorite movie because it is the perfect illustration of having patience while waiting for hard work to come to fruition.

If you have the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?

I'd love to meet a record producer.
