McConnell highlights weekly spotlight performer

Airman Yeates has served in the Air Force for two years and nine months. He has been stationed at McConnell for two years. His hobbies include playing the saxophone, reading, watching movies and attending Wichita State University.

Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
My parents are the most positive influences in my life. My mother taught me the importance of working hard to achieve my goals, and my father taught me the importance of getting an education to professionally get ahead.

What would you like to accomplish during your Air Force Career?
I would like to study psychology at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences and retire as an Air Force psychologist.

Where is the most interesting place you have traveled, and why do you feel that way?
Rome, Italy, is the most interesting place I have been because of its rich culture and history. It also has fantastic food.

What is your favorite book or movie and why?
My favorite movie is the "Usual Suspects" because of the twist at the end. It was arguably one of the greatest endings in movie history. My favorite book is "The Daily Show Presents America: A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction" because it is hilarious and makes me laugh every time I read it.

If you had the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
I would love to meet Woody Allen, famous actor and comedian, because he has a way of making you think while simultaneously making you laugh.
