Airman Poteet is from Calhoun, Ga., and has been in the Air Force for 10 months. He has served at McConnell for five months. When he's not at work, he enjoys hunting, fishing and camping.

What do you enjoy most about McConnell?
How small it is and how nice everyone is here.

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
It serves as an incredible learning experience.

What would you like to accomplish during your Air Force career?
I would like get a degree in criminal justice and become a police officer after my time in the Air Force.

Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
My dad, because he encourages me to go as far as I can in everything I do.

What would you be most proud to tell your parents?
I love doing what I do for them.

What would you like to tell someone who is considering joining the Air Force?
Do it, why not? It's the best choice I've ever made.
