Sergeant Harrison is from Anaheim, Calif., and has been in the Air Force for 12 years. She has served at McConnell for seven months. When she's not at work, she spends time with her two sons.

What do you enjoy most about McConnell?
I enjoy the camaraderie of Team McConnell and the great work and personal relationships.

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you?
The Air Force has provided me with many opportunities such as traveling, meeting different people and training in various jobs.

What would you like to accomplish during your Air Force career?
Recently I've had the opportunity to assist a group of Airman who were struggling with an important part of their career, I would like to track them and watch as they succeed.

Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
My husband, no matter what challenges I face, is always there to help me see the positive.

What would you be most proud to tell your parents?
I would thank my family for the advice and guidance that molded me into the Airman I am today.

What would you like to tell someone who is considering joining the Air Force?
They need to have a plan and ensure that they are ready to serve their country. Be prepared to commit and remain flexible and adaptable. The rewards are worth it.
