The McConnell AFB Construction Industry Day is August 14, at the Robert J. Dole Community Center on base.

This event is focused on contractors interested in competing for future construction opportunities at the base.

The construction-focused Industry Day will provide detailed information regarding McConnell construction requirements and solicitation efforts underway. Officials will delve into the specific needs and expectations for McConnell contractors, ensuring potential bidders have a clear understanding of what will be required. In addition, there will be discussion about the upcoming 2026 Multiple Award Construction Contract. Representatives from the 22nd Contracting Squadron will also offer insights into potential future construction projects and the diverse types of work anticipated at the base in the coming years.

The agenda also includes informative briefings on a range of topics, including compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act, base badging procedures, stringent cybersecurity requirements, and overviews of various McConnell Air Force Base organizations and their operational needs.

CAPABILITIES BRIEFINGS

The Industry Day also offers an opportunity for contractors to deliver a concise 15-minute capabilities briefing, highlighting their company's expertise and relevant experience. Attendees who are providing a capabilities briefing must provide any material that will be used in their presentation with their registration, as well as bringing five physical copies on the day of the event. Subcontractors are also encouraged to attend, but only prime contractors will be allowed to give a capabilities briefing. A maximum of three representatives per contractor are permitted to attend.

A tour of McConnell Air Force Base and its facilities will also be conducted, providing several opportunities for contractors to get a firsthand look at the base's infrastructure and potential project locations
