MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- The McConnell Air Force Base Tax Center is offering free tax services for the 2026 tax season.
Starting Monday, January 26, 2026, the center will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will also be open during the first weekend of each month to accommodate those on drill weekend.
The tax center is located in Building 732. To schedule an appointment, please call (316) 759-2488 during business hours. While appointments are recommended, walk-ins will be accepted based on availability.
The tax center is currently seeking volunteers to assist with tax preparation this season, and no prior experience is necessary. Training is being held at the Dole Center this week until Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those who are unable to attend this week's training can still receive the necessary instruction to prepare tax returns.
