As a spotlight performer, individuals are chosen by leadership for demonstrating the Air Force's Core Values: Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do.

Senior Airman Jacquelyn Yenser, 22nd Director of Staff wing administrator, received the spotlight performer for the week of Feb. 8 - 12.

Yenser provides administrative support for wing leadership, the director of staff and 18 wing staff agencies. Within the last three months she has directly processed over 50 decorations, 15 retirements, and 200 evaluations.

"Yenser is more than deserving of Spotlight Performer recognition," said Lt. Col. Joey Markusfeld, 22nd Air Refueling Wing director of staff. "She has processed more than 50 headquarters awards packages and her efforts proved key to winning 11 Numbered Air Force, Major Command and AF-level wins. Finally, Yenser provides background support for the entire wing command staff, ensuring seamless connectivity for wing senior leadership."

Yenser, a Meeker, Oklahoma native, joined the Air Force in March 2012 and arrived at McConnell in August 2012. Her hobbies include spending time with family, learning crafting projects and camping.

Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
My husband is my biggest positive influence. He always supports me in everything I do and my accomplishments.

If you could give advice to a new Airman, what would it be and why?
I would advise them to be involved and make friends. If you make friends outside your own unit, you'll have that good relationship with other Airmen and you'll be able to network and get helpful advice and answers. This also gives you an opportunity to make life-long friends.

What is one goal that you have already accomplished, or would like to accomplish, during your Air Force career?
One of my main goals I want to accomplish is getting a degree in Dental Hygiene and pursue this career when I retire from the Air Force.

Where is the most interesting place you have traveled and why do you feel that way?
When I was in middle school, a teacher sponsored trips to Europe. Out of the countries we visited, I enjoyed visiting Italy the most. It was so beautiful and filled with culture. I hope to go back one day and spend more time there to learn more about the culture.

If you had the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
I would go back in time and meet Walt Disney because I'm a Disney fanatic and would like to know more about him and his work.
