Leadership Pathways, originally launched in 2012 with the goal of helping Airmen build resiliency, recently expanded to include more classes and better incentives for those who enroll.

The courses offered cover a wide range of topics, ranging from professional enhancement seminars about supervising or promoting to health classes on tobacco cessation or diabetes education.

"People should at least take the opportunity to look at the list of courses we have available; I guarantee you there's a minimum of at least five classes that would benefit each and every person in our community," said Ronald Draper, 22nd ARW community support coordinator.

Active-duty Airmen will receive a one-day pass and certificate signed by the wing commander and command chief upon completion of 45 credit hours of courses, while family members will receive a $25 gift card after completing 45 core and elective courses.

"I'm hoping that the members will have a better understanding of all the helping agencies on base; therefore, utilizing the services and information they have to enhance their lives, both personal and professional," said Senior Master Sgt. David Smith, 22nd ARW career assistance advisor.

While there are more than 60 courses already being offered, Draper insists that there is always room for more.

"If you don't see what you want, personally give us a call and we will make sure we add what you feel you need," said Draper. "If there's a need in the community for a one-time class for five people, we'll do our best to add it to roster."
