McConnell's Pumpkin Patrol

MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- The 22nd Security Forces Squadron will be doing a "Pumpkin Patrol" the night of Halloween in Base Housing, starting at the Youth Center, from 6 to 8 p.m. Here are some safety tips and tricks for your children while they're out trick or treating.

· Remember to look both ways before crossing the street

· Throw away candy that isn't sealed in the wrapper

· Walk on the sidewalk or path

· Drivers are reminded to drive slowly in residential areas

· Take extra time to look out for kids at intersections.
