The 22nd Civil Engineer Squadron performed routine maintenance on the base water tower Aug. 26, which caused unexpected, intermittent reduced water pressure around Team McConnell and in base housing.

The 22nd CES Bioenvironmental Engineers conduct daily water tests throughout the installation to confirm base water meets Kansas Department of Health and Environment standards and remains safe to drink.

At this time, there are no indications of illnesses related to the base drinking water supply. Additionally, the 2015 Consumer Confidence Report is now available to view.

The McConnell CCR is an annual report presenting a summary of the drinking water quality provided to the base and its housing units.

The report documented water quality Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2014 and includes information on the source of the drinking water and how it compares to the Environmental Protection Agency and Kansas standards.

During this timeframe, no monitored contaminants exceeded the EPA or state standards here.
