Team McConnell seeks summer hire applicants

MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- The 22nd Air Refueling Wing and the 931st Air Refueling Group will hire high school and college students through the summer hire program now through Sept. 25.

"We are looking to hire students for clerical positions here on McConnell," said Nettie Webb, 22nd Force Support Squadron civilian personnel officer.

Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited high school or enrolled/accepted for enrollment as degree-seeking students, taking at least a half-time course load in an accredited technical, vocational, two- or four-year college or university, or graduate or professional school.

"Program participants will gain valuable real world experiences and job skills that can make landing that first permanent job much easier," said Robbie Brown, Air Force Personnel Center civilian force integration directorate.
