As a spotlight performer, individuals are chosen by leadership for demonstrating the Air Force's Core Values: Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do.

Airman 1st Class So Hyun Park, 22nd Comptroller Squadron financial services technician, was selected as the 22nd Air Refueling wing spotlight performer for the week of Dec. 16 to 20.

Park enlisted in October 2012 and arrived to McConnell in March 2013. Her duties as a financial services technician include providing financial customer service to more than 3,500 active duty members here.

"Park continually demonstrates her dedication to providing quality financial customer service to the Airmen at McConnell," said Maj. Jack Dickenson, 22nd CPTS commander.

The Centreville, Va native likes fashion, photography and traveling in her spare time.
Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
My parents, because they have always been there for me no matter what.

If you could give advice to a new Airman, what would it be and why?
My advice is to take the most of what you can, be positive, and don't forget to do your PIPS voucher!

What is one goal that you have already accomplished, or would like to accomplish, during your Air Force career?
I would like to complete my bachelor's degree and advance up the ranks.

Where is the most interesting place you have traveled and why do you feel that way?
Kansas is the most interesting place I have been because the weather is strange and a lot of places close early.

If you had the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
I want to meet Kelly Cutrone, because she has an interesting job. She is very straight forward, hardworking, and has a lot of inspiring quotes, such as "Your dreams are arduous; they're not the yellow brick road."
