First quarter status of discipline

The following disciplinary and administrative actions occurred here between January - March 2015:

An airman first class was found guilty of rape, sexual assault and assault consummated by battery. He was sentenced to reduction to airman basic, total forfeitures, confinement for 12 years and a dishonorable discharge.

A senior airman pleaded guilty to multiple counts of being absent without leave and was sentenced to a reduction to airman basic and 18 days confinement. He was then administratively discharged with a general discharge.

An airman was administratively discharged with a general discharge for multiple counts of abusive sexual contact and assault consummated by battery.

An airman first class was given a suspended reduction to airman, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand for disrespecting an NCO in-charge.

A staff sergeant was given suspended reduction to senior airmen, nine days extra duty and a reprimand for disobeying an NCO in-charge and disrespecting a superior NCO in-charge on multiple occassions.

A senior airman and an airman first class received non-judicial punishment for dereliction of duty. The commander gave the senior airman a suspended reduction to airman first class, 21 days extra duty and a reprimand. The airman first class was given a suspended reduction to airmen, 15 days extra duty and a reprimand.

An airman first class received non-judicial punishment for failure to go and was adjudged a suspended reduction to airman, 14 days extra duty and a reprimand. The suspension was later vacated due to further misconduct.

An airman received a reduction to airman basic, suspended forfeitures of $783 a month for two months and a reprimand. He was administratively discharged with general service characterization for a pattern of misconduct.
Three airmen first classes received reductions in rank, reprimands and were administratively discharged with a general characterization for underage drinking, distribution of alcohol to minors, use of a Schedule II controlled substance, distribution of a Schedule II controlled substance and incapacitation for duties due to prior overindulgence in alcohol.

A senior airman received reduction to airman first class, 30 days extra duty with 15 days suspended and a reprimand for failure to go. Shortly after, he faced court-martial charges for similar misconduct.

An airman first class received adjudged forfeitures of $200, 15 days extra duty, a suspended reduction to airman and a reprimand for unlawful entry.

A staff sergeant received 20 days of extra duty with 10 days suspended, a suspended reduction to senior airman and a reprimand for adultery.

A senior airman received reduction in rank to airman first class and was reprimanded for DUI.

A technical sergeant received a suspended reduction to staff sergeant, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand for being drunk on duty.

An airman first class received a reduction in rank to airman and was reprimanded for wrongful use of marijuana, and was then administratively discharged with a general service characterization for drug abuse.

Two senior airmen were administratively demoted to the rank of airman first class for failure to uphold Air Force Fitness Standards.

An airman was administratively discharged with a general service characterization for running over a pedestrian, knocking over a handicap parking sign, hitting a parked vehicle and then fleeing the scene of the crime. Local authorities retained jurisdiction of the criminal case.

Two airmen received an honorable administrative discharge for unsatisfactory performance for failing their career development course end of course tests twice.

An airman first class was administratively discharged with a general service characterization for failure to show for duty, failure to show for appointments, reporting late for duty, providing false statements to supervisors, sleeping on duty and other infractions.

An airman first class was administratively discharged with a general service characterization for falling asleep while at his post.

A technical sergeant received reduction in rank to staff sergeant and was then subsequently discharged with a general service characterization for attempting to solicit prescription drugs from a lower ranking subordinate.
