Proclamation Signing

Members of Team McConnell’s fire department, pose for a photo Oct. 4, 2019, after signing the proclamation that declares Oct. 6 – 12, 2019, as fire prevention week at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. The proclamation states there were 2,630 people killed in house fires in 2017. This is why fire prevention week is used to stress the importance of having an escape plan in the case of a house fire.
