McConnell’s legal office releases November 2011 Crime, Punishment Survey Published Dec. 6, 2011 By Legal staff 22nd Air Refueling Wing MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- Below is a list of prohibited actions committed by Airmen who received Article 15s, as well as additional punishments. ARTICLE 15s: An airman first class from the 22nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron received a reduction to Airman, 13 days extra duty, 13 days restriction to base and a reprimand for reckless driving and underage drinking. A senior airman from the 22nd Civil Engineer Squadron received a reduction to airman first class, a suspended reduction to airman basic, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand for driving under the influence of alcohol. An airman first class from the 22nd CES received a reduction to airman, a suspended reduction to airman basic and a reprimand for being late to work and failing to obey a lawful order. A senior airman from the 22nd Medical Operations Squadron received a reduction to airman first class, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand for being late to work and making a false official statement. A senior airman from the 22nd Communications Squadron received a reduction to airman basic, a suspended forfeiture of $733 pay per month for two months, 20 days restriction to base and a reprimand for using marijuana. COURTS-MARTIAL: None DEMOTIONS: A staff sergeant from the 22nd Logistics Readiness Squadron was demoted to senior airman for failing three fitness assessments within a 24-month period. DISCHARGES: An airman from the 22nd LRS was administratively discharged for failing four fitness assessments within a 24-month period. An airman first class from the 22nd CES was administratively discharged for minor disciplinary infractions including: being late to work multiple times, failing to obey a lawful order, failing multiple room inspections and underage drinking. A staff sergeant from the 22nd CS was administratively discharged for failing four fitness assessments within a 24-month period.
