Severe hail, greater or equal to 2 inches, and 50 mph wind gusts are possible from 7 p.m. to midnight, Nov. 7, 2011 The current weather system is discontinuous and enters the continental U.S. through southern California in a slow moving pattern. This flow is bringing abundant moisture into McConnell with copious amounts of rain and embedded thunderstorms with a potential for severe hail later tonight. Rainfall is expected to increase through the overnight hours. Thunderstorms are expected this afternoon into evening with hail potential.
