Team McConnell would like to honor Master Sgt. Patrick Moushey, 22nd Maintenance Squadron production supervisor, his wife Susan Moushey, postal clerk and key spouse member, Kaitlyn,14, and Colton, 11, by giving them a Year of the Air Force Family Spotlight award. This award is an Airman and Family Readiness Center initiative to honor families that provide outstanding support to Team McConnell.

The Moushey family was nominated by Master Sgt. Chris Phillips, 22nd MXS first sergeant.

The entire family is involved in various activities in the squadron and throughout the base. Mrs. Moushey is the 22nd MXS key spouse and was also the key spouse for the 22nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. She coordinates contact with spouses or deployed Airmen and has greatly helped the squadron key spouse program grow from one to six key spouses.

In addition to his primary duties and responsibilities, Sergeant Moushey is engaged with local scouting and has volunteered numerous hours with them.

Both of their children are involved in their church, scouting, youth sports, and both maintain very good grades. This family shines as our McConnell YoAFF Spotlight.
