22nd Maintenance Operations Squadron member earns spotlight performer

Airman 1st Class San Ha Choe has served in the Air Force for more than two years and has been stationed at McConnell since completing her technical training in 2008. Her hobbies include photography, hanging out with friends, social networking and reading.

Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
My father is the most influential person in my life because he raised me and my other two siblings all by himself while he was still in school with a full-time job. He has shown me that with a positive attitude and great motivation, you can strive to do anything even in the most difficult of times.

What would you like to accomplish during your Air Force career?
I would like to be a linguist and learn as many languages as I can. I also want to get masters degree in this field and retire as a chief master sergeant.

Where is the most interesting place you have traveled and why do you feel that way?
The most interesting place I have traveled to is South Korea because it was so eye-opening to be in another country that has a different culture from ours. Plus, the food was great.

What is your favorite book/movie and why?
My favorite book is "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley because it's one of those books that really makes you think.

If you have the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
I would have to say Lady Gaga. She is a strong, independent and talented woman who's inspired a lot of people with her music, fashion and individuality-allowing people to be themselves.
