McConnell's Mid-Air Collision Avoidance Fly-In event

The Mid-Air Collision Avoidance (MACA) Fly-In event is being hosted by Team McConnell and lead by McConnell Flight Safety (22 ARW/931 ARW). The event is being held on Saturday October 16, 2021 and will include Safety Seminars given by USAF and FAA Safety, USAF Weather Flight, USAF Tower Control and Local Area Wichita Approach controllers. There will also be an opportunity for local area aviation Pilots, Air Traffic Control, and Safety professions to crosstalk with military professionals of like specialty. Additionally, KC-135 and KC-46 static display tours will be made available for those interested and vendor booths are welcome for anyone that would like to set up a booth for the event. The Fly-In will open at 0730L and participants will be departing McConnell AFB by 1600L. This event will provide an opportunity for aviators in the Wichita Area to discuss airspace de-confliction, area aircraft operations, and safety protocols that will lead to a safer more enjoyable flying experience for all!
