Do you ever wish you could just email your medical provider and request an appointment or refill on your medication?  Well, now you can with MiCare.

MiCare is a completely secure and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act compliant portal, used through RelayHealth, that you can utilize for a secure exchange of health information. This web-based service allows you to communicate with your provider, nurse and technicians.

MiCare also allows you to request your next appointment, medication renewals, receive test results and to communicate with your healthcare team about non-urgent symptoms.  You can also request a copy of your immunization records and have access to a large library of patient education materials.

The healthcare team will work to respond to all messages within 72 business hours. Within the last two months, the 22nd Medical Group has responded to about 1,400 secured healthcare related messages. This has helped to alleviate patients having to make any unnecessary medical appointments.
