MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- Carole Sturgeon, 22nd Force Support Squadron event coordinator, has worked as the Robert J. Dole Community Center event coordinator for three years and at lodging for the 26 years prior. The St. Louis, Mo., native enjoys riding motorcycles with her husband Rex and is a member of the American Legion Riders.

Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
My kids are the most positive influence in my life. They teach me something new every day.

What would you like to accomplish during your Air Force career?
I would like to be a good influence on the people I have meet throughout my career.

Where is the most interesting place you have traveled and why do you feel that way?
California is the most interesting place I've been. It was the first time I've ever been to the beach.

What is your favorite book/ movie and why?
I like them all so I don't really have a favorite one to pick.
