Airman 1st Class Brandyn Shelly, 22nd Logistics Readiness Squadron vehicle maintenance apprentice, installs an injection pump on a humvee Dec. 15, 2011, McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. Airman 1st Class Brandyn Shelly, 22nd Logistics Readiness Squadron vehicle maintenance apprentice, has been in the Air Force for two years. The Warner Robins, Ga., native has been at McConnell with his wife, Tabitha, since he completed technical school. Shelly enjoys playing hockey, golfing and building computers.
Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
My wife, because she motivates me to get my education done and is there for me every day when I get home from work.
What would you like to accomplish during your Air Force career?
I would like get my Community College of the Air Force degree during my first term and eventually make chief master sergeant.
Where is the most interesting place you have traveled and why do you feel that way?
Australia was a very interesting place to visit. I got to see how different their culture is.
What is your favorite book/ movie and why?
My favorite movie would be any one by Mel Brooks. He made all of my favorites, so I can't choose one.
If you have the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
Alfred Hitchcock, I really liked scary movies and he made the best. He made over fifty feature films and is the inspiration for many films today.
