22nd CPTS member earns spotlight performer

MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- Airman 1st Class Francis Sparks, 22nd Comptroller Squadron customer service technician, has been in the Air Force for 18 months and has been stationed at McConnell since 2010. Sparks' hobbies include playing lacrosse and collecting old currency.

Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
The most positive influence in my life would be my family and friends because these are the people that are always there for me. Also, they affect me every day, whether they know it or not.

What would you like to accomplish during your Air Force career?
I would like to complete my degree and possibly commission.

Where is the most interesting place you have traveled and why do you feel that way?
Niagara Falls would be the most interesting place because it was in my backyard and I could see how amazing it was in during the different seasons.

What is your favorite book/ movie and why?
My favorite book is "Of Mice and Men." This book was a very interesting. The book had many messages to give and teaches lessons.

If you have the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
If I had the opportunity to meet anyone it would have to be President Barack Obama.
