22nd AMDS member earns spotlight performer

Senior Airman Gabriel Villalobos, 22nd Aerospace Medicine Squadron Dental Flight oral preventative assistant, has been stationed at McConnell since completion of technical school two years ago. The San Antonio native enjoys running, shooting, academics, playing the trumpet, going on road trips, reading Tom Clancy novels and watching horror movies.

Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
The most positive influence in my life would be my mother. She has always been there for me, both as a child and at present, to teach me right from wrong, things I should strive for and acts as a motivator to get me through challenges.

What would you like to accomplish during your Air Force career?
The biggest thing I would want to accomplish is retirement - as enlisted or officer, is still up in the air. After I finish my degree I will apply for a commission, but regardless, retirement is my biggest goal.

Where is the most interesting place you have traveled and why do you feel that way?
The most interesting place I have traveled to would be Wisconsin. The reason is because I don't understand, or comprehend, why they call a water faucet a water bubbler.

What is your favorite book/ movie and why?
My favorite movie of all time would be "Black Hawk Down." Not only is it a great movie, it also has the background of a great story based on real events.

If you have the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
If I could meet anyone in the world, it would be Stevie Wonder, because he is a great musician, and I really admire his work.
