22nd Maintenance Squadron member earns spotlight performer

Senior Airman Heleina Mixon, 22nd Maintenance Squadron crew chief, has been in the Air Force for almost three years and has been stationed at McConnell for two years. In addition to her job, Airman Mixon is also fond of spending time with her family.

Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
I don't have a specific person, but my family is a positive influence because they motivate me to do better. Also, the higher ranking individuals I work with because they have taken the time to train and mold me into a better Airman.

What would you like to accomplish during your Air Force career?
I would like to complete my Community College of the Air Force degree and become a senior NCO.

Where is the most interesting place you have traveled and why do you feel that way?
Hawaii is the most interesting place I have ever been to. It is truly beautiful there, and there is so much to do and see.

What is your favorite book/ movie and why?
My favorite movie is "Superbad." I could watch that movie everyday and still laugh.

If you had the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
I would like to meet Jennifer Aniston because she is a natural beauty and also one of the funniest actresses out there.
