344th Air Refueling Squadron member earns spotlight performer

Tech. Sgt. Ronald A. MacMeeken, 344th Air Refueling Squadron standards and evaluations NCOIC, has been in the Air Force more than 14 years. He has been stationed at McConnell for almost three years. Sergeant MacMeeken's hobbies include working out and repairing cars and trucks.

Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
My mother is the most positive influence in my life. She came to the U.S. with a limited knowledge of English and writing skills. She has overcome many personal adversities and continues to work hard at the age of 68.

What would you like to accomplish during your Air Force career?
I would like to progress to the Senior Noncommissioned Officer tier.

Where is the most interesting place you have traveled and why do you feel that way?
The most interesting place I've traveled to is Wake Island. It's a small island with an abundance of history about WWII.

What is your favorite book/ movie and why?
"American Graffiti" because it was the first movie that sparked my interest in automobiles.

If you have the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
I would like to meet Danny Manning because I have always been a huge Kansas University basketball fan and idolized him as a child.
