22nd Maintenance Group member earns spotlight performer

Senior Airman Melissa Hof, 22nd Maintenance Group knowledge operations manager, has been in the Air Force for four years. She has been stationed at McConnell for three and a half years. Her main hobbies include finishing her education, reading and spending time with friends.

Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
Master Sgt. Ekesha Guillory, 22nd MXG knowledge operations management superintendent, she has been a great influence in my life. I've learned so much from her already and am learning more every day. I am also influenced by my mother Brenda Higgins because when I didn't believe in myself, she did.

What would you like to accomplish during your Air Force career?
I would like to make the rank of master sergeant and get my masters degree.

Where is the most interesting place you have traveled and why do you feel that way?
The most interesting place I've traveled to is Kuwait. I feel like that is the most interesting because of the people I got to meet and the culture I got to see.

What is your favorite book/ movie and why?
My favorite movie is "Super Troopers" because it's the funniest thing ever.

If you have the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
I would like to meet Sandra Bullock. I think she's an awesome actress, a strong woman and she would have great stories to tell.
