22nd Force Support member earns spotlight performer

Glen A. Stallard, 22nd Force Support Squadron test administrator, was in the Air Force for 20 years. Mr. Stallard has served as a government service civilian for one year and five months and has been at McConnell for the past 13 years. The New Paltz, N.Y., native's hobbies include coaching his children's sports teams, yardwork and fishing.

Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
My wife, for standing behind me all these years with all the deployments, temporary duties and permanent change of stations. She always made sure things at home ran smooth.

What would you like to accomplish during your Government Service career?
I would like to advance in the civilian force allowing me to continue serving the Air Force.

Where is the most interesting place you have traveled and why do you feel that way?
Washington D.C. as there is so much history of our country there.

What is your favorite book/ movie and why?
"Into the Mouth of the Cat: The Story of Lance Sijan." I liked the story because despite all the obstacles he faced he never gave up.

If you have the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs because he just seems like a great guy to hang out with.
