Team McConnell would like to honor Tim Foster, civilian engineer, Janet, homemaker and medical assistant, their 17-year-old daughter Sarah, 15-year-old son Phillip and 13-year-old son Kevin by giving them a Year of the Air Force Family Spotlight award. The award is an Airman and Family Readiness Center initiative to honor families that provide outstanding support to Team McConnell.

Nominated by 1st Lt. Brandon Strong, 349th Air Refueling Squadron pilot.

According to their nomination package, the Foster family has assisted Team McConnell families during deployments with much needed everyday tasks including mowing lawns, babysitting children, house sitting and walking family dogs.

Civilian families like the Fosters help fulfill the mission at McConnell.
