Airman 1st Class Christopher Harris, 344th Air Refueling Squadron boom operator, has been in the Air Force for two years. He has been stationed at McConnell since completing his technical training in 2008. The Richmond, Ind., native's hobbies include playing the piano and composing music.

Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
I cannot narrow that question down to one person, however, my family and close friends are the most positive influences in my life and have supported me with all of my tough decisions.

What would you like to accomplish during your Air Force career?
I would like to better myself through the effort of serving my country. Also, I would like to complete my bachelor's degree in business management.

Where is the most interesting place you have traveled and why do you feel that way?
During my first deployment, I had the opportunity to visit Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan Republic. This was my first time in a non-English speaking country. Being able to physically experience another country's culture was very rewarding.

What is your favorite book/ movie and why?
My favorite book is "Breakfast of Champions" by the late Kurt Vonnegut Jr. I love this book simply because of Vonnegut's wit. Kurt Vonnegut Jr. is perhaps my favorite author. He was a prisoner of war in Dresden during the fire bombings which later led to the basis of his bestseller, "Slaughter House-Five."

My favorite movie is "Ghostbusters." What can I say about it? It's classic.

If you have the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
There are two people I wish I could have met before they died. The first being Kurt Vonnegut Jr.; for his words written on paper, and Frank Zappa, for his music.
