Team McConnell members awarded scholarships

MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- Justin Trotter, Ashley Hartman, and Kristin Person, were selected to receive Scholarships for Military Children, July 24. The scholarship presentation was held at the McConnell commissary. MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- Team McConnell would like to congratulate the following individuals who won this year's Scholarship for Military Children Award.

Ashley Hartman, 20, daughter of retired Master Sgt. William Hartman, is a junior at Wichita State University and in a nursing program.

Justin Trotter, 19, son of retired Tech. Sgt. Jeffery Trotter, is a senior at Wichita State University and in a zoologist/ecologist program.

Kristin Person, 20, daughter of retired Lt. Col. John Person, is a junior at Wichita State University and studying to be a first grade teacher.
