WICHITA, Kan. -- A Navy honor guard leads officers and enlisted members of Naval Operational Support Center Wichita, in the Sundown Parade as the official kickoff to the nine-day Wichita River Festival gets underway. Community school supports deployed servicemembers
MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- Andover Elementary School children recently created a flag honoring deployed servicemembers. Each stripe and star is a hand print from a child at the school and contains either a message from the child or just their name. The flag hangs in the processing center at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.
