Recreation area dedicated in honor of Colonel Krueger
MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- Lisa Krueger, wife of Col. Michael Krueger, 22nd Air Refueling Wing former vice commander, and her two sons, Drake and reed along with Ida Simpkins, 22nd Force Support Squadron deputy commander, Airman 1st Class Dakota Tyree, 22nd Civil Engineer Squadron, and Tech. Sgt. Brian Denis, 22nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, cut the ribbon to the opening of the new Krueger Recreation Area, April 4. The Krueger Recreation Area includes an All Terrain Vehicles track, miniature remote control track, disc golf area, paintball zone, camping grounds and fishing ponds, available to military members and their families’ enjoyment.
