Gas mask fit test
Airman 1st Class Clifton Scott, 22nd Logistics Readiness Squadron, takes his initial gas mask quantitative fit test, Sept. 28, 2009, at the McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., Medical Clinic. The 22nd Medical Group Bioenvironmental Flight administers quantitative fit tests to ensure Airmen’s gas masks fit properly and are in good working order. During the test, Airmen move their heads up and down and from side to side while wearing their masks, which are hooked to a computer that monitors each mask’s functionality.
