MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- Mari Vechery, 10, daughter of Col. James Vechery, 22nd Air Refueling Wing commander, cuts out pieces of construction paper for an art project at the School Age Book Club held by the McConnell Library, Feb 5. The School Age Book Club is designed to enhance children’s reading abilities through various activities like reading chapters of a book, then listening to the audio of those chapters while working on crafts.
