McConnell Chiefs award scholarship winner
Members from the McConnell Chief’s Group present a $100 scholarship to Senior Airman Timothy Vojak, Jan 9, at the Chisolm Trail dining facility for his winning essay entry. Scholarships are awarded by the chiefs group quarterly; up to eight scholarships per year. The chief’s group actively supports the enlisted community by providing the opportunity to receive assistance towards furthering Airmen’s education. Scholarship participants are restricted to active duty members E-1 to E-6. Applications and more information can be found outside the education office at the Robert J. More than 50 Team McConnell Airmen received their Community College of the Air Force degree from Col James Crowhurst, 22nd Air Refueling Wing commander during a ceremony, May 14, 2010, at the Dole Community Center, McConnell Air Force Base, Kan.
